REACH Conversation with Alebachew Kemisso

Dr. Alebachew Kemisso Haybano of Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, joined REACH founder and director Sarah Dryden-Peterson for a discussion on refugee education in sub-Saharan Africa during his visit to Harvard University.
Their conversation centered around the challenges and opportunities for research, policy, and collection action at the local, national, and international. The event was open to the public and hosted by the Harvard Center for African Studies.
A student networking lunch was held the day prior, co-hosted by the International Education Policy Master’s program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Dr. Haybano is an Assistant Professor and Director for Center for Comparative Education and Policy Studies (CCEPS) at Addis Ababa University (AAU), Ethiopia.
