Innovations that Transformed Instruction

To prepare for a year of remote learning, faculty at the Harvard Graduate School of Education spent the summer of 2020 redesigning and reimagining their courses for the new, virtual learning space. Working closely with the Teaching and Learning Lab, faculty discovered that the technology opened a new world of possibilities for instruction and learning.
Here, Lecturer Uche Amaechi, Assistant Professor Bertrand Schneider, and Associate Professor Sarah Dryden-Peterson of the Refugee REACH Initiative share the ways in which technology helped them explore hands-on learning experience, foster community, and continue the conversation outside the classroom.
