REACH Joins GPE & UNHCR to Discuss Inclusion of Refugees in National Education Systems
17 June 2020
REACH founder and director Sarah Dryden-Peterson served as the lead discussant for a webinar titled, “Inclusion of refugees in national education systems: Findings from research commissioned by GPE and UNHCR.” The event was hosted by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
Panelists shared preliminary findings and comparative analysis from three case studies, following a jointly commissioned study examining educational support for refugees using historical mapping in three contexts: Bangladesh, Turkey, and Rwanda. It is hoped that this research will contribute findings that are meaningful for the Global Compact on Refugees Plan of Action. Click here to read more.
