REACH Joins WRMC-USIP Panel on Refugees, Education, and Conflict

Refugee REACH founder and director Sarah Dryden-Peterson of HGSE joined a panel discussion exploring links among refugees, access to education, and conflict. The panel also included remarks by international consultant Marc Sommers and Jusoor’s academic director Suha Tutunji. Together they discussed refugee education policies and practice, as well as the implications of limited access to education for refugee youth.

 
 

The event was co-hosted by the World Refugee & Migration Council and United States Institute of Peace. Elizabeth Ferris, WRMC Vice-President of Research and Research Professor at the Institute for the Study of International Migration, Georgetown University, served as the moderator.
