ROUNDS Pilot: Language of Instruction in Refugee Education

14 October 2020

Today REACH launched the first pilot of its virtual discussion series, Refugee REACH ROUNDS. These events foster discussions on common dilemmas of practice experienced by researchers, policymakers, and educators working in global settings of migration and displacement. Through dialogue on these dilemmas, together we aim to advance our collective understanding of ways to promote quality education and welcoming communities for all.

The first of our pilot sessions explored decision-making on language of instruction in refugee settings. Upcoming pilots will focus on data dilemmas, priorities in resource-constrained settings, and welcoming classroom practices. We will formally launch Refugee REACH ROUNDS in early 2021.
