9 Out of 10 Children Are Out of School Worldwide. What Now?

Students from 185 countries—nearly 9 out of 10 schoolchildren worldwide—are now out of school as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. While the scale of this disruption is unprecedented, there is an increasing body of knowledge and research from other education emergencies that can be used to navigate this global crisis.
