SIRIUS Network Webinar on Refugee Education

On Tuesday, June 08, Refugee REACH director Sarah Dryden-Peterson of the Harvard Graduate School of Education took part in a ‘Coffee and Chat’ hosted by the SIRIUS Policy Network, focusing on refugee education in Europe and North America. Other panelists included Lucie Cerna of OECD and Michalis Kakos of Leeds Beckett University.
The conversation addressed how educators can focus on micro-processes of relationship-building, but also as connected to the wider social and political structures and how we might create schools that enable students to ‘arrive’ in classrooms and feel confident to shape those spaces.
